Designing is not limited to objects and tools. Our everyday world in which we live, work, pause and play, is purposefully de- signed as well to meet a range of miscella- neous expectations, wishes and ambitions.

With its exhibit Contrei, Transition x Design, Leiedal welcomes anyone living, working or visiting here to exchange thoughts on the future of the region. It is an open invitation to all stakeholders, local, regio- nal and wider, to work together towards developing the region durably. If we are going to invest funds, we must do so wise- ly, through design research and with the emphasis on quality, outlining our living environment, public spaces, mobility, etc.

At Contrei, interactive charts, videomapping, virtual reality and audiovisual media have visitors experiencing and living the region.
